Rachael Hendry, LCSW, CCTP

Psychotherapist
Welcome

I’m so glad you’re here. Reaching out for support is a courageous and important step toward healing.

If you’re new to therapy, it’s completely normal to feel unsure, awkward, or even a little intimidated. That’s okay. We’ll move at your pace, one step at a time. While the work can be challenging, you won’t be doing it alone. I’ll be here to support and guide you throughout the process. Along the way, you may also find that therapy can be curious, enlightening, and even enjoyable as you learn more about yourself and develop new skills.

Life moves quickly, and anxiety, fear, negative thought patterns, and unhealthy relationships can quietly steal your sense of peace and joy. My hope is that you feel empowered, secure, and more at ease—able to find meaning in your relationships and your work, and to experience life more fully. Together, we can work toward self-acceptance, self-compassion, and freedom from thoughts and emotions that no longer serve you.

If you’re feeling inspired to grow, motivated to evolve, and curious about how to create meaningful change, I invite you to reach out. I will meet you where you are and support you in getting to where you want to be. Together, we can navigate your path toward healing and growth.

About Me

Hello. My practice is based in Missoula, Montana, where I offer in person services. I am licensed in both Montana and California and I offer virtual therapy for residents of both states.

My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed, shaped by over 30 years of educational, professional, and life experience. I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma symptoms, attachment and relationship challenges, and nervous system dysregulation.

I provide a collaborative, supportive therapy space where we can explore your concerns with care and curiosity.

My professional background includes working with populations across multiple settings, including disaster recovery, education, WRAP services, and more. These experiences inform my integrative, strengths-based approach.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking in Western Montana with my dog, Rumi, traveling, and spending meaningful time with friends and family.

I look forward to meeting you!
